Popular singer,  Banky W  and his wife, Adesua gets emotional on stage while recounting how they lost twins at an early stage of their marriage. Banky W and Adesua, made a public speech to a congregation where they opened up to have lost twins before the arrival of the son, Zaiah. Sharing their touching story, the couple revealed that the idea behind this is to encourage everyone who in one way or the other is experiencing such difficulty. Sharing a part of the video, Banky W wrote: “Having faith may not stop you from hurting, but it will help you heal @adesuaetomi and I shared a bit of our story yesterday… about our journey towards having a child. At some points it might make you laugh or cry, but we hope that it will inspire and encourage you, help you heal and build your faith. Brother stabs Lagos businessman to death over N3,000

A businessman, Uchenna Njoku, has been allegedly killed by his younger brother, Chukwuma, during an argument over ₦3000 debt at the deceased’s residence in the Odokekere area of Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area of Lagos State. NAIJA COOLGISTZ gathered that Chukwuma paid Uchenna a visit on Friday when the deceased asked his brother to pay the ₦3,000 he owed him, but in the process, an argument ensued between the brothers, which degenerated into a fight. During the fight, it was learnt that the brothers ignored several pleas by Uchenna’s pregnant wife to stop fighting, but in a bid to separate them, she resorted to seeking the help of their neighbours. Speaking with NAIJA COOLGISTZ, a relative of the brothers, Alex Ogbu, said before Uchenna’s wife returned, Chukwuma had brought out a knife and allegedly stabbed his sibling in the stomach, adding that the cause of the fight was ₦3,000 debt. Aregbesola shows plans for passport centres in 774 LGs

The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola , has promised that applicants will soon begin to get Nigerian passports within 24 hours. The minister also in a statement on Sunday said passport would be issued in each of the 774 local government areas in the country to reduce the problem of getting it. Aregbesola, who is a former governor of Osun State, said this at the newly inaugurated Maitama Passport Express Centre. He explained that the Nigeria Immigration Service Passport Express Centre, Maitama, Abuja, was established in partnership with the private sector to make passport issuance more convenient and quick. Aregbesola stated that the opening of the centre, which signified the inauguration of the Passport Issuance Decentralization policy of the administration, was the first of many more to be established in every local government area in Nigeria and designed to offer specialised services to Nigerians. RAPPER DMX REPORTEDLY IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER DRUG OVERDOSE TRIGGERS HEART ATTACK

American rapper, DMX is reportedly in critical condition after he suffered a drug overdose. The New York rapper, 50, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was rushed to a New York hospital on Friday, April, 2, with sources claiming the overdose triggered a heart attack. According to TMZ, DMX is currently in the critical care unit of a White Plains hospital where he reportedly is exhibiting “some brain activity.” Another source told TMZ that the artist is currently in a “vegetative state” and doctors have cautioned he may not make it. The Ruff Ryders MC has long struggled with drug addiction, last checking into rehab in October 2019. The rapper claims his problems with addiction began when he was tricked into smoking crack at 14 by his mentor. “I was in Yonkers. MTN snubs banks, links 77 million subscribers to fintech platforms

MTN customers in Nigeria now have alternative electronic payment platforms to recharge their phones as the mobile network operator on Saturday announced that customers can recharge airtime through payment solutions platforms such as Flutterwave, Jumia Pay, OPay, Kuda, Carbon and BillsnPay. MTN in a statement on Saturday by its Senior Manager, External Relations, Funso Aina, also said customers could recharge airtime by dialing *904# and *606#. This is coming barely 24 hours after commercial banks on Friday disconnected MTN customers from banking channels including the Unstructured Supplementary Service Data and banking apps, leaving millions of MTN subscribers frustrated as they were unable to recharge airtime via USSD amid the Easter celebrations. MTN, with about 77 million subscribers, making up about 45 per cent of the total telecommunication market share in Nigeria, is arguably the largest telecommunication operator in the country. The Lagos State Government has revealed that it plans to phase out yellow buses popularly known as Danfo in accordance with its transportation master plan of the state. Making this disclosure via a virtual forum on Thursday, February 4, the state Commissioner for Transportation, Frederic Oladeinde said that the busses would be replaced by blue buses. “We are reforming the bus sector and over time, Lagos will phase out the yellow buses because thebuses are not conducive for a mega city like Lagos. That is why we are coming with blue buses you see around. We are inviting the private sector to participate in the provision of public transport services.
