The Set Up was officially released in theatres all over Nigeria last Friday. It promised to be a thrill, and it delivered on its promise. The film was produced by Inkblot, Filmone and Anakle films, and directed by ace director Niyi Akinmolayan. Walking into the theatres, my heart was filled with optimism and excitement. Armed men attack, injure UI postgraduate students with machetes
Sequel to the robbery incident at the Obafemi Awolowo Hall of the University of Ibadan, the postgraduate hostel of the same university was attacked on Sunday by armed men. About seven men who were armed with machetes entered the female block of the Abdusalami Abubakar Postgraduate hall through a window passage and raided the first and second floor. #BBNaija 2019 Game Changer: See How Housemates Were Divided Into Teams
Last night, BBNaija 2019 took another twist as the game was given another direction by Biggy. All housemates were made to randomly pick up wrist bands that indicated which teams they belonged to. At the end the exercise, all 18 housemates were divided into two teams of nine each, and it was announced that the the game will now be played in teams. Tasks will be judged on team basis, the losing team at the end of the week will lose their wager for the next week and all members will be up for eviction. Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka on Sunday described the arrest of activist, Omoyele Sowore by the Department of State Security, DSS as a travesty and violation of the fundamental rights of citizens to congregate and make public their concerns, PM News reports. Soyinka said the young politician never engaged in any treasonable act as being claimed by the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu.
