In Ilorin, Kwara state, one Abubakar Abdulbashit Opeyemi, a final-year student at the University of Ilorin, and two other undergraduate students were sentenced to prison for cybercrime. Alimi Abiodun and Idowu Rasaq Olarewaju, students at Kwara State University, KWASU, Molete and Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, respectively, are the other two prisoners. The three undergraduates were found guilty and sentenced to varying jail terms by Justice Mahmood Abdulgafar of the Kwara State High Court in Ilorin after the court found them guilty of numerous offenses brought against them by the EFCC. The three defendants, who were each charged separately, pleaded guilty to the crime brought against them. As a result, Abdulbashit Opeyemi was sentenced to six months in prison, with a one-year suspension. Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo also known as Sunday Igboho, has been arrested in Cotonou, Benin Republic,  The PUNCH  has learnt. He was arrested at an airport in Cotonou on Monday night, a top source familiar with the matter told our correspondent. Igboho was arrested by the security forces in Benin Republic about three weeks after the Department of State Services declared him wanted for allegedly stockpiling arms, an allegation he has since denied.
