Hushpuppi: Buhari and Nigerian police have been ordered to extradite Abba Kyari to the United States.

Abba Kyari
The administration of President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigerian police have been asked to extradite suspended Police Officer Abba Kyari to the United States.
The Police Commission suspended Abba Kyari to allow for a thorough investigation into the case involving him and Hushpuppi.
According to the US Department of Justice, ongoing investigations revealed that Hushpuppi allegedly bribed Kyari to arrest one of his accomplices in Nigeria, Kelly Chibuzo Vincent.
Kyari has since denied the allegations, but has admitted to assisting the fraudster in purchasing some native clothing for which Hushpuppi allegedly paid.

Nigerians have taken to social media to demand that Abba Kyari be extradited to the United States because his case will be dropped and not investigated in Nigeria.

Some characterized his suspension as lenient, calling on the police to fire Abba Kyari.
Here are some comments gathered:

“Suspension is not only the necessary action, but it is also expediting after your internal review and allowing him to travel to the United States visa-free to defend himself.
There is nothing more or less.
Are you concerned that he might mention others?
At the very least, restore the country’s image!!

“Which suspension is this, and why am I hearing suspension?
It should have been sacked and detained by now.
As if you didn’t already know he’s a scumbag.
This government should stop being biased; no one fought as hard for Hushpuppi as this administration.
Why is this government fighting for a convicted felon?

“Extradition to the United States will be preferable.”
@Oluajayii
“Suspension is a trick to carry judgement in Nigeria; I am not alarmed by anything coming from Buhari’s administration’s operators.”

“The Police Inspector General should hand over Abba Kyari to the FBI rather than suspending him because they can bury the case later; it is better for him to hand over the guy to the FBI.”

“He joins the ranks of the suspended 97 percent who are never prosecuted (Magu, Hadiza) because of this nepotism sha.”

@Mbakarajunior
“Extradite the superfraud IMMEDIATELY.”

@ExclusivekingFC
“Because he admitted to receiving money from Hushpuppy, he should be fired from the police force.
Its purpose is to alter the narrative of our failed system.”
