VICTORY FOR ALL

I sincerely appreciate the people of Osun for embracing peace during the conduct of the Just concluded election. I commend the doggedness, perseverance and resolute commitment of every citizen of the state before, during and after the election. It has indeed put our state on the fore-front when it comes to political maturity and development in Nigeria.

In as much as we ALL want our various candidates to win, it is also important for us to accept that there must be a winner. Election we must understand is NOT a Do or Die affair. We must learn from our past and make a positive choice to allow tranquility prevail at all times. There is no need to fight, stage violence or destroy lives and properties because of governance. We all should continue to embrace peace and work together as a team as we build a strong, better and developed Osun state and Nigeria at large. Regardless of our party differences, I dedicate this victory to the ONLY FEMALE GOVERNORSHIP ASPIRANT in the race at least for her attempt and passion.

In the meantime, I want to sincerely appeal to everyone whom have been offended in the process of our electioneering in one way or the other to embrace peace and let go of all offences. I strongly believe in team work and therefore, I call on everyone of us to collectively, jointly and diligently work together for the progress of our dear state, Osun. The interest of masses must be our priority, hence, let us work towards creating vibrant environment for job creation, equitable distribution of income, development of all sectors and by so doing, everyone become happy, better and empowered to positively contribute to the development of the state and the nation at large.

Once again, I congratulate all of us and extend appreciation to men of the security force for upholding peace through the election process. I wish all of success in all endeavours and may God continue to bless the state of Osun.
