INTER-VARSITY DEBATE: AAUA Students Smash Unilorin, Fountain University, emerge second

The students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State from the department of Political Science and Public Administration on 30th of May, 2018, emerged 1st runner up of an inter-varsity debate in University of Ilorin; beating Fountain University, Osogbo, and University of Ilorin.

The Debate was organised by the department of Political Science, University of Ilorin, having Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko; University of Ibadan, Fountain University, Osogbo, University of Ilorin in attendance.

The theme of the debate was Youth participation in active politics, while the Debate topic was Youth: A beckon of hope towards our political advancement.

The schools present presented their argument and were able to convince audience at the Debate.

It was actually a tough "battle" as the contending institutions were not far from themselves with the grading and total point.

Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State students from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration were represented at the Debate session by Owoola Iyanuoluwa and Dada Ifeoluwa Solomon

At the end of the Debate, University of Ibadan, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, and University of Ilorin emerged Winner, 1st runner up, and 2nd runner up, respectively.

AAUA: 29 point
UNILORIN: 28.7
Fountain University: 27.7
