The World football governing body, FIFA, will pay the Super Eagles of Nigeria and other nations that crashed out from the group stages of the 2018 World Cup tournament £6.1m each. According to reports, Nigeria would have received £9.1 million if they had progressed to the round of 16 stage. This is because any team eliminated from the round of 16 stage will receive £9.1million. The World Cup-winning nation is expected to receive £28 million in prize money from FIFA, with 2nd, 3rd and 4th place teams receiving £21million, £18million and £16million respectively. He was involved in the unfortunate tanker accident with his Mother, twin sister and the Driver at Otedola bridge yesterday evening. They were a few cars away from the tanker when the explosion occurred. The Driver (Mr. Joseph) carried Eyitayo while the mother escaped with Eyitoke (Eyitayos Twin). The where about of Eyitayo and Mr. Joseph is still unknown as all attempts to trace them at the scene of the accident proved abortive. From a reliable source an Independent Tasued Electoral Commission (ITEC) member threatened to beat a student protesting against Injustice and rigging with charm. The pandemonium started when the independent Tasued Electoral Commission (ITEC) officials changed the voting scores of the student favorite opponent from 81 to 85,the students saw this and were very angry and this lead to a great pandemonium and fight in the university. The issue was later resolved when the Dean of the Student affairs came to announce the actual number of votes. The declaration of the winner was shifed to the 3rd of July 2018. JAMB Exempts Foreigners, Prisoners, Deaf and Blind from Post-UTME The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the categories of candidates exempted from post-UTME tests in the 2018 admission process. The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, disclosed this on Tuesday, June 26, at the 2018 Policy Meeting of the Board in Gbogan, Osun state, where the exemption of this category of candidates was approved. Oloyede said the exemption of the aforementioned category of candidates would be treated by the institutions under affirmative and inclusive actions for their accommodation. He said: “The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has put in place a mechanism that would prevent any candidate from taking undue advantage of this exemption. In line with the Senate approved adjusted Academic Calendar, lectures for the Second Semester of the 2017/2018 academic year commenced on 10th June, 2018. It is pertinent to remind all students of the extant Senate rule of No School fees, No Lectures and by extension No Examinations . By this rule, all students are required to tender School fees receipts on demand before being allowed into Lecture halls.
